The third Naoko we built, this time made of flamed maple, indian rosewood and spruce.

Naoko solves a static problem: the classic hole is exactly where the bridge and the neck press down the top which needs to be stiffed out around the hole. This we avoid with our construction. Positive secondary effect: The player has a monitor hole and the vibrating area is bigger. Supported by a fan bracing (like a classical guitar) this construction gives Naoko a strong low end even with small sides (80-85mm).
