This version of Liese is something very special: first off, it is mine Furthermore it weighs less than 3 kilos which also shapes the tone: it has a fast attack and a well-balanced sound. This is being achieved by having very light meranti wood for the neck and the body, which is also chambered. The beautiful flamed maple top is only 3mm thick and bent around the armrest. The fretboard is a light piece of rosewood. The hardware is made by Schaller, works well and is not too heavy.
The almost semiacoustic tone harmonises well with the humbucker sized P90 pickup the PAF-style humbucker at the bridge.
It should be noted that it is not top heavy at all. But concidering this lightweight, it wouldn't matter anyways...
